Subject-matter experts are accessible to coach Power Up businesses in seven specified categories, and Power Up will cover the cost of consultations, advising sessions, and can provide funding for approved projects.

Supported by a Bank of America investment, Power Up University is a partnership with Spartanburg County’s higher-education institutions to help business-owners earn relevant degrees or certifications.

Power Up Spartanburg’s mentoring program, modeled after the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, recruits and trains mentors who work in small groups to guide participating small businesses on their paths to success.
